We went on a trip to Phoenix the end of January to escape the cold weather of Elko. While we were there, we took Ashlyn to Chuck E. Cheese for a little birthday party with us, Matt's mom (she came down with us to check out the Phoenix area), Jared, Victoria, Akris, and Cyris. After spending about 4 hours there, I think we (at least the adults) had their share of fun, food, and games! Ashlyn had a BLAST to say the least!!
After returning to Elko....we decided to give her the choice of where to eat dinner on her actual birthday, Feb. 1st. She chose McDonald's.....because it has the indoor playplace! (And it's the only place to play and stay warm!) After dinner, we took her to Corral West - a western clothing, store - where she got to pick out some new cowgirl boots and hat! Boy was she excited!! We got her another birthday cake on the way home from there, and had a "party" for her at home, with just mom, dad, and baby Sierra. She got all her cowgirl gear: hat, boots (2 pairs), a stick pony. She was also ecstatic to have gotten a small tape measure....just like dad's! She's such the little tomboy. ;) So she was blessed to have 2 birthday celebrations, and already can't wait till her 5th birthday!

Yay! I am so glad you set up a blog. Now I can see even more cute pictures of your kids and see what you guys are up to.

By the way, I will be there for Sierra's blessing. It will prpobably just be me and Hallie. i can't wait to see you guys.
