The actual family happenings...

Our silly girls!

Sierra started walking at the end of October, and there's no stopping her now from getting anywhere she wants to go...usually following someone around the house! She was quite determined to get the technique down once she took the first couple of quick steps between the couch and coffee table. Now she doesn't even care if she stumbles or falls, she just gets up and starts back at it again!

She also has to eat absolutely anything that she sees us eating! She's pretty much off baby food completely, other than her bottle. She'll eat some cereal in the morning with me, lunch with us, and dinner as well. She's even gotten a taste of Matt's birthday cake and some ice cream on a cone with him as well! She's in heaven!!

Matt also celebrated his birthday this past week. Ashlyn and I made him a chocolate star-shaped cake, decorated him an apron with some fabric paints and sponges, and she made him a card with a picture she drew as well. We went out to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner, but left with no dessert since we were all stuffed full and had our cake awaiting us at home.
We are definitely enjoying the time we are able to spend with Matt right now while he's off work. He will start getting his "training" sometime this coming week (he just needs his skills refreshed/refined with installing the newer satellites), and then he will be working all the time, 6 days a week. After researching UTI, it was too expensive to attend, so we'll just get settled in with him working instead for now. :)
Here are some pictures of the recent happenings, and we can't wait for Thanksgiving this coming week:

She's got so much hair!

She can be so sweet and innocent looking :)
